App Name: ClearWeb
We do NOT:
We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (by Google/Firebase) only to improve app stability and performance — and only if you allow it.
| Data Type | Purpose | Opt-Out? |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous crash logs (device model, OS version, stack traces) | Diagnose and fix crashes | ✅ Yes — toggle in Settings |
| Aggregated, anonymized usage metrics (e.g., "X% of users open 3+ tabs") | Improve features | ✅ Yes — toggle in Settings |
Important:
Bookmarks, favorites, tabs, and browsing history are encrypted (if enabled encryption) and stored locally on your device.
If you enable iCloud sync, data is synced via Apple's infrastructure — only if iCloud sync is enabled.
When encryption is ENABLED:
When encryption is DISABLED:
We download ad-blocking rules from: https://clearwebapp.com
No personal data is transmitted to this server — only the raw rules file (e.g., server_rules.json) is fetched.
User Data: All user data (bookmarks, history, etc.) is stored on your device. We do not retain copies of user data on our servers. If you delete the App, all data is removed from your device (unless backed up in iCloud).
Firebase Analytics: Anonymous crash logs and aggregated usage metrics are retained by Firebase according to their data retention policies (typically 14 months for Analytics). You can disable this collection at any time in Settings > Privacy.
Support Communications: If you contact us via email, we may retain that communication temporarily to resolve your inquiry. We do not link support emails to your browsing activity or personal data.
Your Rights: Since we collect minimal data and do not store personal information on our servers, there is typically no user data to delete. However, if you have concerns about any temporary data we may hold, contact us at info@marz.pro.
ClearWeb is not intended for users under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Note: Since we collect minimal data and do not process it, these rights are largely theoretical — but we will honor requests. Contact us at info@marz.pro.
Firebase Analytics processes data in the U.S. We rely on:
We use industry-standard practices (e.g., AES-256, iOS Secure Enclave) to protect data stored on your device. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Servers: We do not store personal user data on our servers. All browsing data (bookmarks, history) remains on your device.
Third-Party Services: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics process anonymous data in the U.S. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EU/UK users to protect data transfers.
Your Responsibility: Protect your device with a passcode, enable encryption for iCloud sync (recommended), and keep iOS updated to maintain security.
If you start a free trial of ClearWeb Pro, the app may ask permission to send local notifications on your device. These reminders are optional and are used only to notify you before your free trial ends so that you can cancel before being charged. These notifications are generated locally by iOS. We do not receive notification delivery data, browsing activity, or personal identifiers through this feature. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings > Notifications > ClearWeb.
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
